February 1st is the deadline to submit books, articles, and student papers for this year's CTS Awards competition. Eligible material should have been published in 2016 or, in the case of graduate student essays, completed in 2016.

Articles: The committee prefers 3 hard copies, but can work with an electronic version of the article in its published form.

Graduate student papers:  please send 3 hard copies.

Books: The Awards Committee will need 3 copies from those members submitting books for consideration. (Your publisher may be willing to send them for you.)

If you wish to receive confirmation your hard copies have arrived, send an email request to barnes@udayton.edu, so that confirmation can be given through the “reply” function.

Books, or articles or papers hard copies, should be sent to:

            Michael H. Barnes

            Religious Studies Department

            University of Dayton

            Dayton, OH 45469-1530

Please note that you must be a current member (with dues paid up!) to be eligible for the book or article award. So this is a good time to check your membership status. Winners are expected to attend this year's annual meeting (June 1-4, 2017, at Salve Regina in Newport, RI) to receive the award in person Saturday evening.

If you have any questions, please send them to Mike Barnes:  barnes@udayton.edu
