The Department of Theological Studies at SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY seeks to appoint a one-year non-tenure-track assistant professor with expertise in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. The appointment is expected to begin on August 1, 2021.

A PhD in hand is required by the time the appointment begins. Candidates will have an established record of teaching excellence, will carry a 3/4 teaching load, and will be expected to teach a range of courses, including an introductory Hebrew Bible/Old Testament course, upper-level courses on the Pentateuch and on prophetic literature, and a course on biblical interpretation.
