Editor – Religion & Spirituality (Part-time/remote)

Paulist Press is seeking a professional editor to acquire and develop books for its religion and spirituality publishing list.

The position will involve acquiring and preparing approximately ten manuscripts per year primarily in the areas of spirituality, religion, and self-help. Qualified candidates should be able to work quickly, accurately, and collaboratively to meet agreed-upon deadlines.

This position can be worked remotely from home but some office attendance for meetings may be required. The candidate must be familiar with PC with Windows operating system (with current Microsoft Office 365 software and virus protection) to perform this work. Editing timelines can vary dramatically, so flexibility is greatly appreciated.
