Candidates should have a completed Ph.D. at the time of application, already show a strong record of undergraduate teaching, be an excellent pedagogue, have a record of publication and conference participation that demonstrates active engagement in the preferred field, and be willing to support the mission of Loyola University Chicago and the goals of a Jesuit education. Candidates should have a specific expertise in an area of Christian theology (New Testament preferred) and will be expected to teach in Loyola University Chicago’s undergraduate core curriculum, with a preference given to candidates having experience teaching in Roman Catholic and Jesuit schools.
