The School of Theology and Seminary (SOT/Sem) at Saint John’s University and the Department of Theology (DOT) at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University announce a tenure-track position with primary specialization in New Testament studies with a secondary area of theological focus at the rank of assistant professor, to begin in August 2024. We seek candidates with strong potential as effective teachers and scholars who can equip students with skills to critically engage the texts of the New Testament, including their interpretation and theological developments, for a globally diverse and ecumenical student body. Secondary areas of specialty are open, but those that support our graduate and undergraduate missions are strongly preferred; they may include but are not limited to contextual theologies, pastoral/practical theology, and/or spirituality.
Review of applications will begin February 5 and will continue until the position is filled.
