St. Mary’s Seminary & University in Baltimore invites applications for a position in Sacred Scripture for the School of Theology/Seminary program, beginning Fall, 2019. This faculty position is responsible for graduate-seminary level teaching in Scripture, with a focus on the New Testament and competency in the Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures, as well as service as a formator in the Sulpician tradition.
The ideal candidate would be a Roman Catholic priest with a terminal ecclesiastical degree in the field, although other Roman Catholics, both religious and lay, women and men, with a terminal ecclesiastical degree in Scripture/ Biblical Theology, will be considered for the teaching position.
Academic rank at first appointment is commensurate with prior achievement.
